The Danforth Museum of the Arts and The Frame Garden are celebrating Russell Chatham and his legacy with an exhibit and webinar. Chatham was a larger than life character, active in the local art, restaurant, and publishing scenes. He was known for his landscape paintings and perhaps known to most locally for his lithographs. Exploring his art and his artistic impact on Livingston will be three panelists, his daughter Lea Chatham, his printer Geoff Harvey, and fellow artist Parks Reece. Storrs Bishop will moderate the evening’s presentation.
The webinar will be live streamed on Facebook Thursday November 19th at 7pm. The video will also be available for viewing later with details on The Frame Garden website and Facebook page. The exhibit of lithographs will be at The Frame Garden starting November 20th. Ten percent of the proceeds of sales will go to the Danforth Museum of the Arts. For more information call 222-5122.
