Rangers get first win of the season
Rangers vs. Hardin Bulldogs

 

At the 11:41 mark of the 1st quarter, Brock Peterson intercepted a Trey Murphy pass and ran it back, 46 yards for a touchdown. The conversion attempt was no good.

Later in the quarter, John Waddell ran for a 41 yard touchdown, the conversion was good and Park was up 14-0.

That was it for the scoring until late in the 2nd quarter when Mason Dionne of Havre ran it in from the 1 yard line to put 6 points on the board for Havre, the conversion was no good.

With 1:04 left in the half, Trey Murphy passed to Ivar Aageson on a 10 yard pass for a touchdown. The conversion was good and they were tied up, 14-14.

There was no scoring in the 3rd.

With both teams having opportunities in the 4th to score, it wasn't until late in the game that the Rangers got the advantage. With only :37 left to play, Peterson caught a 4 yard pass from Waddell for the touchdown and the 2 point conversion was good, putting the Rangers up 22-14.
