Golden Eagles get the win over Rangers
test

Park High took it on the chin Friday night as the Fergus Golden Eagles get the win over the Rangers 27-6.

There were some great plays by the Rangers throughout the game, only to be followed up by penalties and turn overs.

The Rangers contained Fergus up until the 0:26 mark of the 1st quarter when Norslein connected with Blythe on a 45 yard pass. The extra point was good, putting the Golden Eagles up at the end of the 1st quarter, 8-0.

The Rangers defense had a pretty good night making some key stops to turn the ball

over to the Rangers offence.

An 17 yard pass from Waddell to Hanson at the 8:56 mark of the 4th put the first points on the scoreboard for the Rangers. The 2 point conversion failed.

The game ended in a 27-6 victory for the Golden Eagles, moving them to 2-1 in the class A rankings.

The Rangers are 0-3 so far this season.

The Graybeals "Player of the Game" went to The Fergus Golden Eagles Wesley Jameson. Congratulations to Wesley for a game well played.
