The Blue Slipper Theatre to present Sam Shepard’s classic play, True West

True West by Sam Shepard

The Blue Slipper theatre is proud to present True West, by Sam Shepard.

Featuring: Henry Haseltine as Lee, Rusty Trzpuc as Austin, Steven Leuzinger as Saul, Relly Friedman as Mom and directed by Erica Nashan.

The Pulitzer-prize finalist, True West, is widely considered Sam Shepard’s master work. Shepard puts the “fun” in dysfunctional family relationships. His play depicts two brothers, Lee and Austin. Austin is a successful scriptwriter, and Lee a demented, petty thief. Things

get very messy at mom’s house when Lee’s ideas for a trashy western begin to usurp Austin’s script for a modern love story.

True West opens June 22 and runs through July 8. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 3PM.

The Blue Slipper Theatre is located at 113 E. Callender St., Livingston, MT. Tickets can be reserved online through our website at www.blueslipper.org or by calling 406-222-7720.
